By recovering the written word of the Jesuits of the former province of Aragon, expelled by order of Charles III, we managed to understand how deep their affliction was and we wished to chronicle it, just as we have chronicled many important events that marked the future of these exiled men of religion, especially the Valencians. The chronicles and letters of the exiles are an essential testimony to help us get to know their personal experiences and the feelings that the painful exile provoked in them, first in Bunifazziu and then in Ferrara.
